Seth Rollins Takes a Subtle Dig at ‘Everyone at the Top’ for Not Making Full-Hearted Efforts to Push the Industry Forward: “We Need a Change Again”

Seth Rollins knows the subtle art of playing mind games. Perhaps it is the same reason that has brought a wave of success in his storied career over the last ten years in WWE. The Drip God knows how to use his words and keep the fans buzzing and drawn toward his next move in the company.

It is exactly what he did recently as he begins his quest to bring about a change once again. Moreover, Seth did not hold back from taking a shot at everyone claiming to be of main event status. The interesting part was Rollins indirectly pointing toward somebody he knows well who has held WWE under siege.

Seth Rollins’ indirect shot was potentially hinted toward one particular WWE superstar

Seth Rollins is one of the most entertaining and charismatic acts on Monday Night RAW today. However, the marquee spot for the top star of this generation has evidently been captured by his former Shield brother, Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief has been absolutely remarkable during his dominant title run that approaches its 1000-day mark.

Furthermore, Rollins has not held any World championship since the time Reigns began his historic title reign. However, the former Architect is looking to bring a huge change for himself and WWE at Night of Champions. During a recent sit-down interview with Corey Graves, Seth blasted everyone who claimed to be on the top. He even did not hesitate in stating that they were more concerned about protecting themselves than the wrestling business itself.

Rollins said, “I hate to say … we need a change again … I don’t feel anybody at the top want to take any risks, the titles they are holding … I think they are more about protecting themselves than pushing the industry forward … and so now is the perfect time for a new World Heavyweight championship and we can do it the way it is supposed to be done.”

Why does Seth Rollins feel a need for change in WWE?

Seth Rollins did not specifically mention the people he was referring to during the interview. However, his words are a big indication that it was directed towards Roman Reigns only. Rollins’ words pointed out Reigns’ part-time appearances and being protected, perhaps referring to his Bloodline and the management.

Even, WWE CCO Triple H even endorsed the fact that the WWE universe deserved a fighting champion, appearing more frequently and defending the title.

The Game made the statement when he unveiled the new World Heavyweight Championship title on RAW a few weeks back. The title has become exclusive to RAW after Roman was drafted to SmackDown in the WWE Draft 2023.

Seth Rollins is slated to battle AJ Styles at Night of Champions to crown the inaugural champion. The match was set in stone after both competitors won their respective qualifying matches last week. So now there is only one question left to be answered.
