The ‘Hell in a Cell’ match in 2022 witnessed one of the best WWE fights of the year. That year, the former champion and superstar Cody Rhodes decided to return to the promotion after he had left earlier. Perhaps due to him not being able to stand up to his career expectations, Rhodes left WWE. The wrestler joined a rival promotion, AEW, after leaving WWE. However, he decided to return to claim his big name again in the year 2022. Following this return of his, Rhodes had a match against the villainous, Seth Rollins. Even though Rhodes’ past opponent is shown to be an antagonist, that doesn’t stop him from being an observant fellow in real life.

In a recent podcast, the antagonist appeared and talked about one of the things that he finds amusing about the modern era. He even shared his view on how technology has influenced even sports that have little to do with it. We cannot ignore the view coming from the amazing wrestler as he talks straight facts and nothing else.

After mentioning what he believes to be true, Rollins also justifies it by saying, “I just think there’s so much more information out there, they can suck all that in.” The topic is to be thought upon with great consciousness. The fact that even though technology doesn’t largely affect sports that require physical exertion, the influence generated is pretty interesting.

There are cons to every other thing that appears to be all good. The same goes for the internet and the influence it carries over people. “it’s all out there so there’s an expectation on what a match should be,” added The Architect while opinionizing on the influence the technology has on audiences. Although he does not conclude that it is certainly bad, his words imply that overexposure to technology proves to be bad for the sport and the athletes.
