Can WWE survive without Seth Rollins if his injury layoff is longer than expected?

After months of injury hiatus, Seth Rollins returned to the ring right before Money in the Bank. He lost his return match against the then-World Heavyweight Champion. At SummerSlam, we saw Seth Rollins officiate the match between two of his opponents, CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. It seemed like the storyline was potentially building up toward his match with CM Punk. However, the advancements on Monday Night Raw 08/05 tell us that this may not happen anytime soon.

Seth Rollins was unfortunately subjected to brutality at the hands of Bronson Reed in the middle of the ring after his heated promo. The big guy attacked the former World Heavyweight Champion out of nowhere while he was distracted. Seth Rollins tried to resist and even laid a few punches and kicks on his attacker. However, Reed had the element of surprise and the undeniable advantage of being bigger than The Visionary.

Bronson Reed not only slammed Rollins several times, but he also performed the ‘Tsunami’ from the top turnbuckle on Rollins six times before the officials finally dragged the latter to safety. As a result of the brutal attack, Seth Rollins was spraying blood from his mouth all over the ring.

The assault that Rollins endured on Raw was more than whatever he had to go through following his in-ring return. So, it is only understandable seeing the toll that it took on him. One of the fans released a verdict on the same by claiming that the wrestler may be out of action for at least a month before coming back.

The segment on the red brand fired up a member of the internet wrestling community who called out WWE for not deciding against Bronson Reed. They wish to see him getting suspended from the roster indefinitely for putting The Visionary’s life on the line just to make a statement. One of the fans mentioned how difficult it must have been for Seth Rollins to endure this much pain from a 330-pound man. He would probably require a few weeks’ hiatus to recover from all the harm.

Another user surfing the internet believes that the timing isn’t right for Seth Rollins and he needs to wait out a few months at home, get better, and then return to WWE. Until then, he could figure out some techniques to take on Bronson Reed, as he won’t be an easy opponent to face.
