Seth Rollins might have experienced one of the most disappointing days in his WWE career. Because, although ‘The Visionary’ is quite good at playing mind games with his opponents, Kevin Owens successfully fooled him on this week’s episode of WWE Raw.
Rollins looked in a jovial mood backstage, following his match with Finn Balor on Raw. However, Owens interrupted him and falsely claimed that Adam Pearce recently told him that if he won against Big E in the main event, they will add him to the title picture at the WWE Day 1 PPV.
Not trusting what Owens said, Rollins himself walked up to Adam Pearce to confirm it. When asked about it, Pearce said that Owens lied and it will never happen. But soon after that, Sonya Deville suggested to Pearce that it won’t be a bad idea if Owens gets added to the title picture following his win over Big E at the main event.

Later, Rollins attacked Kevin Owens during his match with Big E and gifted Owens the victory via disqualification. Soon after that, it was made official that Owens will be added to the WWE Championship match at the WWE Day 1 PPV.
Soon after the show got over, Adam Pearce also made a tweet claiming it is now official. In reply to this, Rollins fired a shot at the WWE official through his tweet.
YOU LYING SCUMBAG I HOPE BROCK LESNAR DESTROYS YOU FRIDAY! https://t.co/x53SFIF2Um

In his tweet, Rollins called him a “Lying Scumbag”. ‘The Visionary’ also took shots at the WWE official by claiming that he hopes Brock Lesnar destroys him on Friday. Brock Lesnar is set to return to SmackDown next week after his suspension got lifted last week.

Why did Seth Rollins make such a statement about Adam Pearce and Brock Lesnar?
Adam Pearce is a WWE official, and he was the person who announced Brock Lesnar’s indefinite suspension. The Beast Incarnate was not at all pleased with this decision. Following this announcement, he made his way into the ring and hit Pearce with an F5.
In the following week, Pearce even announced that Lesnar will have to pay a fine of $1 million for his actions. First, Pearce announced the indefinite suspension and followed it up with the $1 million fine. Thus, Lesnar will certainly have a score to settle with the WWE official once he comes back next week on SmackDown.
It was announced on the latest episode of SmackDown that Lesnar will return next week. Later that night, Kayla Braxton interviewed Adam Pearce backstage during the latest episode of Talking Smack.
When asked about his reaction to Brock returning to SmackDown next week, he said, “So you asked me now. He’s coming back next week and how do I react to that? How do I feel about that?…You blindsided me out there, and I’m not blaming you, don’t get me wrong. But if you’re gonna look me in the eyes and ask me how I feel about it, I think it su*k*, I think it su*k*.”
