Ricochet is moving one step ahead of his inevitable WWE exit that has been hanging over his head for quite a while now. Last week in a post-SmackDown Twitter match, WWE stripped him of his Speed Championship belt to give it to Andrade. It kind of gave fans a snippet of how WWE slowly and strategically discarded him as he looked to pursue a new direction in his career. Tonight on Raw, Ricochet bowed out in his potential final appearance in WWE with Bron Breakker driving him into a car with a power slam.

After a considerable phase of dilemma, through a couple of reports, we came to know that Ricochet had already made up his mind that he isn’t looking to renew his contract once it terminates sometime around this summer. On Monday, another follow-up report suggested that the former WWE United States Champion was not scheduled on the card to appear in any other weekly program following the June 11th episode of Raw that was supposed to wipe him out for once and all. But what was unknown was the intensity of it.

Ricochet didn’t lace up his boots on Raw for a single encounter, but he stepped out when the Mad Dragon needed him the most. During the highly physical bout between Dragunov and Breakker, Ricochet wanted to save his friend from a menacing spear. Although he could get away with the first intervention, the effort went in vain as Breakker again speared Dragunov at the parking lot.

When the Future of Flight still didn’t stop overplaying his part, he ended up garnering the wrath of Bron Breakker. Breakker made him pay by lawn-darting him into a truck, causing him to fall straight to the ground. To add to his misery, the Raw star finally warded the high flyer off by driving him into the windshield of a car.

WWE fans seem sure of Ricochet’s imminent departure following a vicious attack on Raw

Fans saw and felt a shiver in their spines as they bid a silent goodbye to Ricochet.

They believe this is how Triple H played his final card

Ricochet has been majorly under-used in WWE. Despite being a class performer and possessing immense talent, the company never handed him a spot worth mentioning. And, now, with the contract talks being at a standstill, fans concluded that this is it for him in the division.

On the other hand, AEW’s Will Ospreay displaying interest in reuniting with Ricochet sparked the rumor of him joining AEW next. Given his wrestling style aligns with the promotion’s penchant for theatrics, fans indirectly wished him luck for his time in Khan’s tenure.
