WWE RAW Tag Team titles were on the line on the first night of WrestleMania. 11 time Champions New Day locked horns with the uncanny team of AJ Styles and Omos.
WWE Intercontinental Champion and New Day Member Big E introduced the Champions, while Styles and Omos came out later on. Although Omos stood in the ring to face the New Day first, Kofi made Styles be the contender.
What followed afterwards was a string of offenses from New Day as AJ Styles got subdued. Despite the Phenomenal One’s repeated trials, Omos could not make the tag.

However, during an opening, Styles rushed in to tag the 7’3″ giant. As soon as he stepped in, New Day got dominated like never before. Every offense from the champions was subdued.
Omos single-handedly won the tag team titles

Towards the end, Omos body slammed Kofi Kingston and put his foot on the latter’s chest. In utter humiliation, New Day lost the titles to Omos and AJ Styles.
The match was going in another direction when AJ Styles was in the match, No one thought the New Day would lose. But as soon as Omos stepped in, the match went in Styles’ favor.
The former basketball player put up a stellar performance in his WWE in-ring debut. Triple H already gave a testament to his abilities in an interview with Metro.
