While discussing terror in the context of WWE, Brock Lesnar is one of the first names that spring to mind. He can cause the most terrifying moments in a person’s life with only a glance, as he goes by the alias of The Beast Incarnate. Former WWE writer Brain Gewirtz spoke about a time when Lesnar caused him the “scariest moments” of his life and made him feel nervous, describing how intimidating Lesnar is in person.

For those who are unaware, Gewirtz worked for the company and was responsible for some of its most iconic plotlines. He worked there for more than 15 years and had a significant role in the company’s creative aspects. Consequently, he used to interact with numerous superstars behind the scenes.

He spoke about his interactions with Lesnar at the historic WrestleMania 30 backstage events in his book, “There’s Just One Problem…: True Tales From The Former, OneTime, 7th Most Powerful Person In WWE.” The Undertaker wasn’t the only one who had a difficult night at WrestleMania 30 as The Beast Incarnate broke his steak that night. He noted Lesnar first refused his handshake and gave him a look that would go down as one of the scariest moments of his life.

What did Brock Lesnar do that made him feel the most terrified he has ever been?

Former WWE Writer noted that as Brock Lesnar was backstage at WrestleMania 30, he reached out to shake his hand. Lesnar, on the other hand, was just giving him a threatening stare, which made the brief period feel like 45 minutes to him. In his words, “Then I extended my hand to Brock, who just looked at me menacingly for what was probably eight seconds, but felt like forty-five minutes.”

Lesnar, who joined the organization after displaying his talents in the UFC, was an absolute superstar with an attitude befitting the ultimate champion on the ring. On top of that, he had a scary demeanor. So when he continued to gaze at Gewirtz, it made him fearful. In addition, he said that Lesnar smiled at him in the end and let him understand the joke was on him.

He stated, “My mind raced with many thoughts, mainly, what has Paul been telling Brock about me that will make him want to end my life? Fortunately, Brock broke out into a big smile and started laughing, returning the shake, thus ending the scariest moment of my life [and I’ve had my brakes go out on my car while going downhill in a snowstorm].”

Indeed, if someone like Lesnar stares at somebody, there’s a high chance they would be intimidated at least a bit. And Gewirtz is not an exception, and the joke that Lesnar played on him gave him the most terrifying but memorable experiences of his life.
