This episode of SmackDown started with a rehash of the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames. Bianca Belair opened the show only to get interrupted by Damage CTRL. However, with a little help from Charlotte Flair and Shotzi, all hell broke loose. While all this was happening, former WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks took to social media to drop some images that have the WWE universe begging for her return.
Banks walked out of the WWE on May 16, 2022, while being one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions.

Since she left the WWE, fans have been hoping for her return. With issues building within Damage CTRL, this could be sooner than expected. There’s been heavy tension between Bayley and the rest of the group. This all started when Kairi Sane returned to Crown Jewel 2023.
The opening segment of SmackDown didn’t even have Bayley, as the team did not tell her what they were doing. Keeping this in mind, Banks’ story on Instagram makes more sense. She posted two images on her story. Both were from her match with Sane at NJPW Battle in the Valley that took place on February 18, 2023.
Fans hope that Bayley turns babyface and leaves Damage CTRL. This will allow her to team up with Banks if she returns. Together, they can take on the rest of Damage CTRL.
