Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com revealed a major update on Mercedes Mone fka Sasha Banks in WWE on February 24th. In the Q&A session, one fan asked about AEW getting a new writer for Mercedes Mone and the message behind doing so. PWinsider.com writes, “I think it sends a message that he wants to do whatever will be best to get Mone over and make her an attraction for AEW.”

Well, the message is clear for fans from AEW regarding Mercedes Mone. She is going to AEW soon and Tony Khan is setting up things to make her debut and initial run grand. For a few weeks, AEW has been throwing up cues suggesting her opponent and her transfer from NJPW.

Earlier, Dr Britt Baker DMD called herself the Boss of AEW Women’s Division, a moniker used by Sasha Banks in WWE. Later, Emmy award-winning writer, Jennifer Pepperman was spotted backstage of AEW Dynamite Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Hence, Renowned Wrestling Journalist Dave Meltzer believes that she might be joining AEW due to her close relations with Mercedes Mone. It is believed that she will be soon appointed as the VP of Content Development.
