Sasha Banks‘ return has divided the wrestling world into largely two groups. While one set of fans believe that she would re-sign with WWE upon her return, others think that we will see her debut in AEW. While there have been rumors regarding each side, the news seems to be getting more and more concrete for those who want to see Banks sign with Tony Khan‘s promotion. To add to these, there have been more advancements from AEW’s end that further give us a possibility that Mercedes Mone could be signing with WWE’s competitor.
Sasha Banks’ return timeline aligns with AEW’s upcoming event
Since Banks’ return to the United States has now been confirmed by several social media posts and activities, fans have been speculating that it would either be WWE or AEW for the female star. Because of the status that WWE has built for itself, there were chances of Banks signing with the company. However, it seems that she is taking the road that not a lot of people expected her to travel.

Recently, TD Garden, Boston, spoiled an upcoming event by AEW. The event was promoted on social media and fans immediately found an interesting detail about it.
AEW Dynamite Rampage will take place in Boston on March 13, starting at 7:30 PM. The only detail that we need to focus on, is the date of the event. This is because there were reports about how Sasha Banks is set to return to the wrestling industry earlier in 2024. There were no precise dates, but these reports suggested that she would be back by March this year.
Since there were also other reports claiming that she is certainly not signing with WWE, it would make sense if the former IGPW Champion signed with AEW. However, this might rub a WWE legend the wrong way.

Eric Bischoff has been feuding with Tony Khan virtually for the longest time. The former WCW employee once sat down with the topic of Mone’s future on his podcast. Consequently, he considered the fact that Tony Khan could offer the wrestler more money than WWE. But he also claimed that the Stamford-based company will utilize her star power to the fullest.
This is where Bischoff said that Sasha Banks would be making a poor decision if she signed with Tony Khan’s AEW just because of the money he can offer. So, if the speculations of her AEW debut are correct, then Bischoff may take shots at her in another podcast episode.
