At last week’s Smackdown, Santos Escobar brutally turned on his stable mate and childhood hero Rey Mysterio. Before fans and the 48-year-old veteran himself could heal from the shock, Escobar struck out again, this time verbally.
The thick crowd of Ford Center, Indiana, paid him back with continuous booing when he crossed all his limits by taking a dig at Mysterio’s gradually recovering injury.

Santos Escober earned massive backlash bashing Rey Mysterio on SmackDown
Recently, Rey Mysterio revealed that he had undergone knee surgery after receiving an unforeseen blow from Escobar. While cutting a promo tonight, a frenzied Escobar dished Mysterio, terribly saying he apologized only for not doing more damage. Adding to that, the LWO member continued he utterly hoped that the surgery didn’t go well and they had to amputate his legs.

He also deemed Dominik Mysterio right when he decided to go against his father and thinks the older Mysterio’s win over his son was completely unjust.

The report reads, ”It’s gonna be group vs group. It’s gonna be Santos and some partners vs Rey with partners. I don’t know what they’re going to do with the LWO name, which side gets it? Maybe they’re even going to feud over the name, I don’t know.”
While anything can happen next given the explosive situation, we need to see who runs the LWO next moving forward.
