The released stars have mixed feelings about these WWE releases
WWE released one of the industry’s legendary promoters, Gabe Sapolsky, who worked as a consultant for the company. However, Gabe’s reaction to his release indicates that he is hopeful of the future.
“Looks like the end of the road. Thank you everyone. Love you all!” he wrote.

However, even though he praised all the young talents and figures he worked with, Samoa Joe seemed upset. He tweeted, “Extremely fortunate and grateful to all the young & amazing talent I had the pleasure of working with in the past months. Only saddened at the loss of an “excuse” to see their continued growth & achievement . I am very excited for there future,….. and mine.”

WWE released Samoa Joe back in 2020. Later, Triple H contacted the Samoan Submission Machine and asked if he could join NXT again.
When Joe responded in the affirmative, he returned and dethroned Karrion Kross for the NXT title. However, another injury forced him to vacate the title and put him out of action.
WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg also took to Twitter to express his feelings. However, one more thing to note here is that he lost his Twitter verification after his release.

One thing worth noticing here is all these released stars were close to Triple H. Looks like Vince McMahon wants to completely revamp the whole system and keep the guys he trusts.
