After airing their dirty laundry in public, members of The Judgment Day were able to keep aside their egos and join hands to dish out brutal punishment to Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes. It took place right after Rhodes won his main event match against Finn Balor at the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg. The RAW episode saw two sides of The Judgment Day.

Their camaraderie, however, made Zayn pay dearly. The Canadian pro wrestler had suffered an injury last week. His plight was exacerbated following the recent beating.

After Rhodes’ win, members of the stable attacked the star. This led to Zayn rushing out with a steel chair. While he was able to have an immediate impact in subduing Rhodes’ opponents, they retaliated as JD McDonagh attacked the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion from behind.

After getting attacked backstage last week, Zayn was replaced in the lineup of superstars who faced the faction on the August 7 episode of the red brand.

As Zayn went down inside the ring, it allowed The Judgment Day members to join forces and attack him and Rhodes.

They also put Zayn through the announcer’s desk as Priest played the protagonist in executing the brutality. This saw the faction mocking the superstar, who writhed in pain.

Meanwhile, Balor hit Rhodes with a Coup de Grace as the program ended with The Judgment Day cheering their hunt. Has Cody Rhodes found his next long-term opponent in Finn Balor? While it hasn’t been finalized yet, it looks promising.

Here’s why Cody Rhodes could feud with Finn Balor in the near future

After his win against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, The American Nightmare has officially won that three-match feud 2-1. He not only tamed The Beast, but also managed to earn Lesnar’s respect. But Rhodes isn’t involved in any long-term feud currently. Or is he?

There’s a good chance that The Prince of Pro Wrestling could start a feud with Balor. The Irish wrestler was engaged in a rivalry with Seth Rollins, facing him in two back-to-back PLEs. But that seems to be a thing of the past now.

After Shinsuke Nakamura attacked the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on the August 7 episode of RAW, Rollins came out on Monday night and challenged him for a match. While the date has not been announced, The King of Strong Style and The Visionary might lock horns at the upcoming Payback PLE, scheduled for September 2.

As Rollins is likely to take on the Japanese pro wrestler, Balor might start a rivalry with Rhodes. As stated above, fans will have to wait for a few more episodes to find out how things shape up.
