In a recent interview, Ariel Helwani asked Zayn if anyone was against his decision to join The Bloodline. Zayn said, “If I’m being brutally honest, maybe [Paul] Heyman is the one I felt I had to convince. He’s old-school and Roman’s his guy and Brock was his guy. He is very familiar with the top of the card. For him to be able to buy into me being part of the act that’s on the top.”
“I didn’t want him to be one of those guys that’s like grabs Roman and says, ‘He just did this thing with Knoxville.’ With Heyman, he’s more strategic about things. He thinks about things that I wouldn’t think of. Or he looks at the business in different ways that I wouldn’t look at.”
Further in the interview, Zayn revealed that impressing the fans is all that Heyman cares about at the end of the day. Talking about impressing the fans, Zayn has been a major factor in The Bloodline’s success. All because of the unlimited charisma that Zayn boasts, coupled with his wrestling skills.
