Brock Lesnar and WWE had a bitter relationship after 2004 when he left the company over the frustrations of a hectic travel schedule. Moreover, Vince McMahon gave him a non-compete clause, which he signed without reading. This had stopped him from joining any wrestling or combat sports company.

The Beast Incarnate was dating his current wife Sable who was still in WWE at that time. Reminiscing about it, Lesnar once shared the reason that concerned him as his wife was in WWE and had to travel everywhere.

In his book, Death Clutch, Brock Lesnar talked about the reasons that made him worried while his wife Sable was in WWE. He has clearly mentioned every concern in his autobiography.

The Conqueror stated, “I hated it when Rena (Sable’s real name) was on the road. There is a lot of testosterone in the business, and I was worried about what some jackass might do or say to her. But Rena is a remarkable woman, and she can take care of herself.”

Sable’s enormous gesture for Brock Lesnar back in 2004

The Conqueror left WWE after WrestleMania 20, losing a match against Goldberg. He left the company with not much of a good relationship with them. Moreover, his then-future wife Rena Greek was in WWE, which made him constantly worried, but she, too, left the company a few months later.

Lesnar writes in his autobiography, “She did finally leave the WWE, but not because they were treating her wrong or anything like that. She didn’t do it because they disrespected her. She left for me.”

Elsewhere in the book, The Beast has stated Sable was ready to do anything to make this relationship work. Therefore, she left WWE for Lesnar, which made him worry less in his darker days, work-wise.
