Former WWE superstar Rusev displayed his anger towards the company on social media. This started after WWE published a throwback video of Roman Reigns.
Reigns returned two Sundays back at WWE SummerSlam. Since his unexpected return, most of the coverage across all platforms has been about the ‘Big Dog.’
Recently, WWE posted a throwback video of Roman Reigns. The video was about the Juggernaut capturing the United States Championship for the first time in his career. The man Reigns defeated was Rusev himself.

WWE tagged Roman Reigns on Twitter. However, they didn’t tag Rusev. This didn’t sit well with the ‘Bulgarian Brute.’ The former U.S. Champion then decided to ask for a favor.

Former WWE superstar Matt Hardy joined the conversation after a fan mentioned him.
WWE social media folks aren’t allowed to mention talent like @ToBeMiro, because they now only exist in the entire professional wrestling universe, as opposed to solely @WWE. It’s just their policy. I love how @AEWrestling acknowledges all of pro wrestling, competition or not.. https://t.co/D0GzTIFiBI

After reading the tweet, Rusev would send a heartfelt message to his brother. Rusev and Matt Hardy are good friends from their days in the WWE.
My brother Matt i miss you. Be safe. https://t.co/K840KJfnRs

Rusev was happy the day he got fired from WWE
A few days back, Rusev reflected upon his WWE career. WWE fired Rusev some months back because of COVID-19 budget cuts. Rusev revealed that he had no grudge against the company for its decision.
“When an employer hires you, you agree on a certain amount, right? So as an employee you can’t be mad that you don’t get any raise. You can be mad always at your employer. The same thing applies here. When they signed me they never they are going to push me. They never said ‘Hey you signed this contract back in FCW, we’re going to push you to the moon.'”
Rusev had a strong start to his career until his streak was ended by John Cena at WrestleMania 31. He had a small resurgence with his Rusev day gimmick but could never impress the top management.
