The most recent WWE Monday Night RAW episode featured a Women’s Battle Royal to crown a new WWE Women’s World Champion. Former Champ Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate her title after getting injured by Liv Morgan last week on RAW. After a grueling battle, Becky Lynch defied all odds and won the title. However, Mami had something to say about this win on social media.

The Women’s Battle Royal was the worst for The Man, whom Piper Niven attacked after being eliminated. This resulted in Nia Jax getting involved, who laid out both women.

Taking to X, Ripley posted, “The forever runner up and the interim champ.” The reference here was to the fact that Lynch could not win the title from Mami at WrestleMania XL. Interim means ‘in the meantime.’ Rhea Ripley views Becky Lynch as a transitional champion until she returns to the WWE. Before leaving, The Eradicator mentioned that she would seek blood upon her return in her quest to win back the title.

While Lynch is the new WWE Women’s World Champion, it is clear that she will have a ton of competition until Mami gets back. The first on the list might be Liv Morgan, the second-last person in the ring with Lynch. Morgan has been on her Revenge Tour, and Lynch may already be in her crosshairs. Morgan clarified that despite taking out Ripley, her tour is just starting. This would make The Man an easy target for Morgan, who feuded with her before Mania. The next person is Jax, who has been gunning for the title since her return to the WWE in 2023. But, what about Ripley?

While Ripley and the WWE maintain that Morgan’s attack resulted in an accidental injury, she is set to miss out on a ton of action. The Wrestling Observer said, “She suffered a sprained AC joint in the brawl with Liv Morgan last week. Liv threw her into the wall and she hurt it, a total fluke.” Following this, they also mentioned that the time to recover is 4-6 weeks only to regain mobility.

As far as being medically cleared, it could take anywhere between 3-4 months. This could set Ripley up to make her return at SummerSlam or around the PLE to build up to her match. What did you think about Ripley’s tweet? Do you agree with it? Tell us in the comments.
