After a victorious Royal Rumble event, Cody Rhodes has now officially his eyes set on WrestleMania 39 main event. The American Nightmare is all set to challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns to chase his childhood dream. Ahead of the big fight, he came up with a lot of unknown facts and feelings during a podcast episode.

Cody upheld a lot of things, starting from his recovery from injury, the highly anticipated WrestleMania match to his family legacy, especially his father’s.

Cody Rhodes’ best revenge mechanism

From his very childhood, Cody shared a special bond with his father. Like any other child, his legendary father Dusty Rhodes had been like a superhero figure for him. Cody, as a kid, used to get upset and revengeful while seeing the ill comments about his father. Addressing all the repressed feelings since childhood, he finally found his best revenge mechanism. ”The best part of it, the best way to really get revenge and vindicate and avenge, somebody like Dusty Rhodes, for things that didn’t even bother him, is success. There are many ways to deal with those who once criticized his father. Cody made it very clear that he will prefer to shut them all by excelling at what he does. Mentioning the sheer importance to uphold and carry forward his family legacy, the star stated, ”You can call someone else name back, you can bring up the past or you can actually be as kind as possible to those people, but just make sure they know you’re going to run up that damn score, you’re going to run it up and you’re going to make sure when my daughter puts her name down somewhere when Kellan and Maris and Dylan and Dalton and Dakota do the same that they know the Rhodes’ were at the top of their field and good people.”
