Ronda Rousey once again proved woman’s supremacy in wrestling over men, but not in a WWE or UFC arena. While the 36-year-old showed up to help her tag teammate Shayna Baszler get the better of Raquel Rodriguez during last week’s RAW, the former UFC champion is currently invested in another pursuit.

‘The Rowdy One’ has taken up a new challenge a month ago by going to compete in a reality show on Fox TV, named ‘Star on Mars’. The show features 12 celebrity contenders who play out the Mars mission simulation to get votes every week. The recent most episode saw the former Woman’s SmackDown Champion butting heads with the NFL legend Marshawn Lynch for the position of the base commander on the show.

Rousey, 36, is a multi-faceted celebrity who possessed an impressive UFC record along with her successful WWE stint. The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion had zero trouble getting on her beast mode to perform some deadly UFC moves to out-wrestle the $35M worth star.

The RAW star last had her UFC match back in 2016 but didn’t lose her grasp over the game as proven in her latest demonstration. She stunned the crowd through her signature armbar to conclude the brief affair with Lynch, in a WWE arabesque.

Rousey made a shock rerun to the Stamford-based company during WrestleMania 39. However, she ended up going back to hiatus shortly afterward due to an unhealed injury and the reality show endeavor.

However, the ‘Baddest Woman on the Planet’ resumed her action, clinching the Women’s tag team championship alongside Shayna Baszler.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler can prove to be a game changer for WWE’s Woman division

While the duo will have to keep their tag team championship in line to retain it in the form of the new unified Woman’s tag team title during a title unification match on the 23rd of June against NXT Women’s tag team champions, it seems like putting them as champions will probably revive WWE’s chances regarding poor handling of Woman’s tag team division.

Contrary to popular belief, the WWE tag team Championships have not always been pointless props throughout the years. There were many tag team duos that sparked the glimmer of greatness. But they eventually faded out due to the lack of proper booking. However, that may not be the case for the Baszler-Rousey duo.

Rousey alongside the Queen of Spade clearly oozed out a best friend vibe that will do great to their title run together.

Now, we need to see if WWE decides to plant them as an unstoppable unit inside the promotion or not.
