Ronda Rousey left WWE after SummerSlam only to return to pro wrestling on the independent circuit. After she returned from the hiatus, Rousey first appeared in ‘Lucha VaVoom’. But now, she has officially made her in-ring debut for independent promotion Wrestling Revolver, competing with an ROH champion too. After leaving wrestling fans ecstatic with the surprise appearance, Rousey has finally opened up about the experience.
Ronda Rousey’s true feelings about her first indie match
Fans saw Rousey in a tag team match at Wrestling Revolver a few hours ago. At the ‘Revolver Unreal’ PPV, ‘The Rowdy One’ teamed up with Marina Shafir to face Athena and Billie Starkz. Rousey’s team won the match via disqualification after Athena, formerly known as Ember Moon in WWE, hit Rousey with the title belt. Now Rousey couldn’t help but share an honest opinion about her experience.

It looks like Ronda Rousey is loving the experience of being a free agent and enjoying her time on the independents. Where this independent circuit would lead Rousey is still a mystery to be discovered. However, there are several speculations as to where the former UFC champion could end up.
One such speculation that we made was that Tony Khan could end up signing Ronda Rousey for his own promotion. Since AEW allows indie wrestlers to perform during their PPVs, there are chances that we can see her at Full Gear 2023.
Is Ronda Rousey soon to become an AEW star?
As previously reported, there are three major reasons why we can see Ronda Rousey appear at AEW soon. Firstly, we can see that the wrestler is feuding with Athena, who is also the ROH Women’s Champion. Since ROH operates under AEW, it is a good enough hint that Tony Khan can take this a level higher.

Secondly, the CEO of AEW also announced how he is going to reveal a ‘world-class’ talent in the company. Since this announcement came just before Rousey’s tag team match with Athena, we can assume that he might be signaling to reveal her to the audience soon.
Lastly, we can all agree that the 36-year-old talent would be a great elevation to Tony Khan’s promotion. Her mainstream popularity could easily help him gather a larger amount of audience.
