Ronda Rousey recently won the tag team championships. However, that is also a matter of concern for her because of what has been happening in the division that she is performing. Although Rousey knows what the problem is, it is upon the creative to decide when and how to proceed. The titles were originally with Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan. Due to Morgan’s injury, the team eventually had to vacate the title.

When Rousey and Baszler came back to action a month later after their WrestleMania 39 victory, they found the perfect opportunity for a title match. The ‘Fatal 4-way’ match on Monday Night Raw ended with Rousey and Baszler winning the championship.

Soon after the victory, Rousey sat down with the NY Post for an interview. In the interview, she revealed that the real problem with the Women’s tag team division is the lack of competition. “We want to be the most active champions out there,” confessed Rousey. And this wish of hers won’t be fulfilled unless there are enough women in the division to keep them busy.

She further went on to add, “The biggest challenge that we have is to get this company [WWE] to actually care and invest into this tag division.

But little did Ronda Rousey know that a lot of fans are actually wishing for the women’s tag team division to end.

Fans are against Ronda Rousey’s WWE division

The reason behind this is as simple as the problem that Rousey is concerned with. Through recent social media interactions, fan sentiment tells us that the audience also doesn’t see much competition in the women’s tag team division.

And perhaps due to the scarcity of a good amount of female wrestlers, fans often don’t find tag team storylines to be as engaging.

The fans could also be wishing the best for the women’s tag team division. For them, the easier way out of the issues is to just end the division altogether and put the female wrestlers in different solo storylines.
