A deep controversy surrounds WWE as murmurs of the restart of the poor handling of the women’s division have resurfaced to the surface. It regained traction after two major women’s matches didn’t find a spot SummerSlam card. While most of the wrestling world turned furious about the promotion’s dastardly antics, Bayley came out as an exception.
Top female franchise player Ronda Rousey saw the decline in the women’s roster coming much before WWE pulled off the women snubbing card at SummerSlam. Being one of the landmark forces of the historic WWE Women’s revolution of 2015, the former Raw Women’s champion naturally didn’t really hesitate to raise her voice against any pressing issue regarding the status of female fighters. However, her protest came under fire with Bayley’s counterstroke.

In a two-month-old interview, The Baddest Woman on the Planet slammed Vince McMahon’s company for not giving enough importance to the women’s tag team division. A rebellious Rousey even termed the division ‘dismally shallow’ and issued a bold demand for improvement.
Right after being WWE women’s tag team champion alongside Shayna Baszler, Rousey went on fearlessly attacking the major loopholes of the company. ‘‘Well, the lack of competition is really the problem. I mean, we want to be the most active champions out there.”, she noted in a candid confession.
Now, after Rousey’s devastating SummerSlam dropping, Bayley chose to address her discontent over the former’s disgraceful comment on WWE’s women’s division.
While speaking with Inside the Ropes, the veteran female wrestler noted, ”If she wants more, then Ronda should do more. I’m tired of her saying she wants more. Come out here and do it. Let me see. Do I see Ronda Rousey out here doing interviews? No, I see Shayna Baszler. However, it seems like The Rowdy One won’t get the chance to accept Bayley’s challenge as she is currently on the verge of wrapping up her WWE stint.

Ronda Rousey received a massive blow from former tag team partner Shayna Baszler at the MMA Rules match of SummerSlam this past weekend. It was already reported that the SummerSlam bout would be her last dance under the WWE ring. Capitalizing on the same note, the 36-year-old former UFC champion finally teased the very end of her WWE journey.
Despite recording a successful WWE run, Ronda Rousey has often been subjected to fans’ wrath, especially in recent times. People speculated a lot about her exit for a while now. Finally, Rousey, 36, gave the official trademark on their thoughts, hinting at her retirement.
Following the SummerSlam loss, the former women’s SmackDown Champion wrote on Instagram, ”@qosbaszler you were the reason I got into this business… Now I got no reason to stay.”

We need to see if a UFC run awaits her next or not, but in either case, she won’t be able to contribute to the women’s division in WWE, at least not directly.
