Ronda Rousey returned to in-ring action on SmackDown this week after her suspension was lifted. She won the Fatal-Five-Way match to earn a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship. After watching ‘The Rowdy One’ pick up the win, the Champion Liv Morgan had a few stingy words to say after the match about Rousey’s UFC career.

The Fatal-Five-Way saw Natalya, Sonya Deville, Xia-Li, Lacey Evans and Rousey go up against each other in the number one contender’s match.

The former RAW Women’s Champion cleared the field out rather quickly, before making Deville tap-out for the win.

Morgan takes a shot at the UFC career of Ronda Rousey

After the match, the current SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan was asked what she took away from the Fatal-Five-Way match.

The Champion replied, “Yeah, I was impressed but I actually love this for me because I think we’re all so used to Ronda Rousey quitting after she loses twice. So I think we are all in for a treat.”

This was obviously a dig at Rousey’s UFC career. ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ quit the promotion after suffering two stunning back-to-back losses.

Morgan further said that she is going to beat her in their next match.

She claimed, “I’m looking forward to beating her flat on that match, one, two three. And if anyone doubts me at this point, watch me.”

The former ‘Riott Squad’ member holds a spotless 2-0 record against Rousey.

After successfully cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase to win her first SmackDown Women’s championship, Morgan got the better of the former UFC Champion again at SummerSlam.

The two are now set to compete again at Extreme Rules for the title. Morgan has grown into her role as Champion ever since SummerSlam.

She defeated one of Ronda’s close friends Shayna Baszler at the Clash at the Castle event in Cardiff after an impressive showing. She will now look to put up another fighting performance at her next title defense.
