Ronda Rousey & Naomi beat all odds and defeated Sonya Deville & Charlotte Flair at Elimination Chamber 2022.

However, for this match, Rousey tweaked three things – her attire, her looks, and her wrestling style. She had her right tied behind her back. She did not wear any makeup. It was an all-natural look for her at the Elimination Chamber.

Finally, she wore her Judo Gi as her gear for the night. A Judo Gi is similar to a Karate uniform but is used for Judo.

The Judo Gi is the same one Ronda Rousey wore during the 2008 Summer Olympics, where she secured the Bronze Medal. As soon as she entered the arena, her fans and former colleagues reacted to the Judo Gi.

The women usually wear full-body in-ring gears whenever they travel to Saudi Arabia for PPVs. But, Ronda Rousey’s choice of gear symbolized a special moment from her past. Moreover, Rousey trained for Judo from a young age, hence, she is quite attached to it.

‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ managed to win via tap-out with her right hand tied behind her back.

She locked Sonya Deville and she almost immediately tapped out. Now, Charlotte Flair could have helped Deville, but she didn’t look quite interested in doing so. Additionally, the referee kept a close eye on Charlotte Flair after she stepped inside the ring a few times without being tagged in.

Keeping aside the victory moment, Rousey showed the WWE Universe the numerous maneuvers she can do even when her hand is tied. As of now, there is nothing that can stop Rousey from rising to the top.

Ronda Rousey’s next opponent is Charlotte Flair. As the winner of the Royal Rumble Women’s match, Rousey chose to challenge WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair for WrestleMania 38.

It’s only a matter of time when Ronda Rousey takes on Charlotte Flair, and that time neither of her hands will be tied. If she can make her challenger tap out with one hand tied, imagine what she will do when she can use both her hands?
