In a pretty shocking turn of events at Money in the Bank, Shayna Baszler turned on her long-time training partner, Ronda Rousey. The attack from Baszler allowed Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to emerge as the new Women’s Tag Team Champions. Baszler explained on Raw following MITB how she had nothing but vitriol for Ronda Rousey. The WWE Universe further saw fireworks between the two, with Shayna Baszler coming out on top.

However, on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw, Ronda Rousey came looking for retribution. Baszler, on the other hand, escaped the attack. Rousey has now taken a personal dig at Baszler’s unsung MMA career on social media.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were arguably the most fierce and formidable tag teams in the women’s division. The former women’s tag team champions incorporate vicious MMA moves and submissions into wrestling. But before turning into pro wrestlers, both Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler were in the UFC.

While Rousey had a decorated UFC career, Shayna Baszler didn’t achieve glory in MMA. It should be noted that the two lived together prior to joining the UFC. And so, Rousey and Baszler know each other too well. Ronda Rousey hit Baszler where it hurt the most on Instagram, digging up her MMA struggles. The point Rousey is seemingly making in her post is that Baszler has always been inferior to her.

She wrote, “Some things never change”, posting a compilation of brief clips of her pounding on her opponents. In the clip, we see Rousey taking down Alexis Davis with a judo throw in their UFC match. In addition, Rousey also attached a clip of her attacking Shayna Baszler on Raw. The end of the video saw Rousey deliver a knee to the liver of her training partner during a sparring session, knocking her down.
