Nothing is getting WWE fans more excited than seeing the upcoming Tribal Combat match between Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. The two cousins have set the wrestling world on fire with their intense feud for the past few months. Watching Uso pin Reigns in the middle of the ring last month got many people excited as it gave them a chance of seeing Uso win in the upcoming title match.
But his recent victory at SmackDown gave one an indication of the result of the main event at SummerSlam.

On SmackDown, Jey Uso went one-on-one against his younger brother, Solo Sikoa. The brothers had an intense match with Jey Uso coming out on top. A Twitter posted this theory that Cody Rhodes beat Sikoa at the go-home show on RAW before his big match at WrestleMania. We all know how that ended, so the same could be the case for Jey Uso’s upcoming bout as well.
Cody Rhodes pinned Solo right before WrestleMania and ultimately lost to Roman Reigns.

But one thing that should be considered is that Jey Uso has also pinned Roman Reigns in the ring as well, a feat no one did in more than 3 years. This puts him a step above anyone who’s ever competed with The Tribal Chief. He even put Reigns through hellish pain before getting his cousin to agree with the match.
But we won’t know the real result until the SummerSlam main event wraps up. Even though nothing’s certain yet, some fans are already upset about Jey Uso’s loss given the indication at SmackDown.

Results are everything in the wrestling world. So, this indication of Uso’s defeat has left fans with a sour taste in their mouth. But they are still holding on to hope that Uso can do the unthinkable, a phrase that defines his entire singles run.

This fan gives an explanation of why they think that Uso’s victory at SummerSlam makes total sense.
I'm just gonna say now, JEY is the storylines payoff.
If they don't have Jey do it, then I really don't care about anybody else doing it.
As much as I like Solo, I know there's no way they're gonna give him the title this early in his career.— HUMBUCKER (@HumbuckerVT) August 5, 2023
