This week on SmackDown, the WWE Universe will finally hear from Roman Reigns. The Universal champion will reveal the consequences Jey Uso will face at and inside Hell in a Cell.

A couple of weeks back on SmackDown, Reigns revealed the stipulation to be an ‘I Quit’ match inside Hell in a Cell. The Big Dog promised there will be dire consequences but never revealed what they will actually be.

However, WWE has promised that Reigns will finally shed light on those consequences. Here is a statement from WWE’s official website.

“The long-standing family rivalry between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso was only intensified when Uso refused to acknowledge his cousin as The Tribal Chief. And now, following a vicious altercation between them last week on the season premiere of SmackDown, The Big Dog will reveal the consequences for what he’s promised will be the highest stakes in WWE history.”

Jey Uso could surprise Roman Reigns at Hell in a Cell

Last week on SmackDown, we finally got to see a different Uso. The challenger walked down to the ring after Reigns defeated Strowman in the main event.

Reigns dropped a steel chair towards Uso and asked his brother to have a swing at him. As Reigns turned his back and waited, Uso didn’t strike him and threw the chair down.

Reigns laughed at Uso’s reluctance to attack. An irate Uso then dropped Reigns with two big right hands. He yelled about how much they loved each other and pounded him with multiple chair shots.

Since the start of this family rivalry, we have always seen Jey Uso as the guy who will finish second. Many people rightly believe Uso is the number one contender because Paul Heyman and Reigns did a favor by adding him in the fatal four-way match.

Since then, Uso has always been treated as the sidekick or just a passer-by in this marvelous story of Roman Reigns becoming the tribal chief. However, at Clash of Champions, it looked true as Reigns squashed Uso.

This story looked done and dusted. However, Uso revealed three weeks ago on SmackDown that even though he lost at Clash of Champions, his spirit wasn’t dead yet and ended up earning a rematch inside Hell in a Cell.
