Former WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns has been absent from the schedule since his loss to Cody Rhodes in the main event on night two of WrestleMania 40. While many were expecting him to finally mark his return around SummerSlam, tragedy struck when his father, the legendary Sika Anoa’i, passed away at the age of 79.

On several occasions, Roman Reigns stressed how much his father meant to his development as a WWE wrestler and, in addition, to his evolution as a good person. The bond with Sika was not only in what they shared at home as father and son; it also transcended the ring.

So fans were obviously worried about the mental well-being of Reigns after this loss. Additionally, they were sure that the Tribal Chief would not mark his return anytime soon.

After the passing of his father, Roman Reigns shared a touching post on his social media. In the post, he praised his father and wrote about the love and support he has received from his fans. Sika’s passing marked the end of an era in professional wrestling, but Reigns has made it clear that he will continue to be in the spotlight for his fans.

For the time being, we’ll have to wait and see when he’ll return to WWE programming, as the current storyline with The Bloodline has removed him from his position as the Tribal Chief. But we can be sure that whenever he returns, it is surely going to be a banger of a return. With him probably reuniting with the Usos and Zilla Fatu, Lance Anoa’i, or even Hikuleo joining him in his fight against the new Bloodline headed by the traitor, Solo Sikoa. What do you think? Will Reigns return anytime soon? Let us know in the comments.
