Roman Reigns stunned the world with his return this week to the WWE. This return was one that no one saw coming.

As Bray Wyatt captured the Universal title, his celebration was cut short with a spear by the returning Reigns. Moments later, Reigns speared Wyatt again – leaving him unconscious in the ring.

In the spirit of vicious spears, former pro wrestler The Hangman took a dig at former WWE superstar Rusev with a SummerSlam throwback picture of Rusev and Reigns. However, Rusev was a sport and replied in a sporting manner instead of taking offense.

WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Cesaro had a reply of his own for his friend Rusev.

When the conversation is about Roman Reigns, it is impossible that the ‘Big Dog’ will not give his thoughts. Here is the message sent by the Powerhouse.

A changed Roman Reigns returned to the WWE

The Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman story was so personal and intense that no one saw the Roman Reigns return as a possibility. Reigns had not been seen on WWE TV for almost five months.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, WWE was operating in the Performance Center and under close doors. WWE left it up to the talent if they wanted to come and perform or stay at home.

Roman Reigns decided to stay at home and be safe, which is totally understandable. The Big Dog also has a history of Leukemia which could be dangerous in the pandemic. Plus, he was also a father to newly born twins.

The Juggernaut’s return has transformed the Universal Championship landscape. As mentioned above, he speared Wyatt twice and almost killed Strowman with wicked chair shots.
