The longest-reigning WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns continued his dominant reign as the champion when he choked out the WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg during the opening match of the Elimination Chamber PPV in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

In a six-minute match, Reigns really defied all the odds and made Goldberg look like an amateur at the event. The Tribal Chief won the match by submission when he locked his Guillotine on the former WWE Universal Champion.

However, The Head of the Table went on to boast himself and said that he is surprised with himself and how his greatness has affected the WWE roster.

“I try to teach my sons about humility every day. And I have to think that I’m a humble ‘Tribal Chief’. But even I surprised my own self with my greatness. I’m a man of my word, and I goldberged Goldberg,” said Roman.

Roman Reigns is currently in the longest title reign in his career and perhaps this title reign is the most successful reign of his entire Samoan bloodline.

Reigns’ next opponent is the newly crowned WWE Champion Brock Lesnar who will face him at the WrestleMania 38 PPV.
