The Bloodline is up in flames while Roman Reigns still undergoes his hiatus. There have been too many changes to the stable, including the assault that Reigns’ most loyal follower endured during Friday Night SmackDown 06/28. Paul Heyman and Reigns find their fates intertwined as they potentially prepare themselves to take down the faction the latter created. Nevertheless, despite everything that is going down on the blue brand, fans are shocked to see that The Tribal Chief has still not come back.
This may have made some of us wonder whether Solo Sikoa‘s confession about how Reigns is not coming back could be true. Co-hosts on the Busted Open Podcast believe that the former WWE Undisputed Universal champion will ultimately return, but only when the storyline takes a specific turn.

WWE has not provided fans with any update on Roman Reigns’ expected time of return since his hiatus began. The storyline suggests that the Head of the Table has departed permanently. As a result, we can expect his return to be a surprise rather than an announcement, unlike WWE’s past approaches to his returns. Matt Camp and Denise Salcedo drew up an estimated timeline for Paul Heyman’s return to the promotion. Both of them seemed to agree on the fact that it wouldn’t be anytime soon, considering the vicious nature of the beating he incurred at the hands of The Bloodline. This is when Salcedo said on the June 29th edition of podcast, “He [Paul Heyman] has stated this is his Tribal Chief, and he’s only going to acknowledge him. He’s loyal to him. So, I feel him coming alongside him whenever Roman Reigns does come back. That’s how you go about it.”

Since Heyman’s return may take longer than just a few weeks, fans shouldn’t expect Roman Reigns to return anytime in July by this logic. With Sikoa also turning his focus to external matters at hand, it would be wise for the promotion to usher in the call for vengeance after he wraps his affairs with Cody Rhodes. Sikoa aims to replicate the stature of Reigns after taking up his mantle, as he aims to become the WWE Universal champion. Whether the new Bloodline leader triumphs or not, it could have massive ramifications for the brewing Bloodline Civil War.

Moreover, Roman Reigns will also aim to make his storied comeback in full glory and he would need to figure out a way to even the odds. And that’s how the Stamford-based promotion could usher in another marquee comeback.
Reigns could seek help from a close companion of Paul Heyman
It is being speculated that the former leader of the Anoa’i family will redeem himself as a babyface. This will allow him to reconcile things with The Usos in the meantime. The original three members of The Bloodline will then take on the new faction leader. However, they might not be alone in this quest as fans are booking another WWE legend to come help them in this storyline. The superstar in question is none other than Brock Lesnar.

This is because The Beast Incarnate has also been a Paul Heyman guy in the past. Since the two don’t have any active feud going on, we can expect him to come to his aid and avenge The Advocate by taking on The Bloodline. The noise around his real-life legal issues has died down enabling the prospect of his glorious return to the promotion. With Reigns, The Usos, and Lesnar standing side by side, The Bloodline will have no numerical advantage, thus leveling the playing field.
Do you think Roman Reigns will have outside support other than his cousins? Or should he not count on anyone whenever he returns to the promotion to check on The Wiseman?
