The Tribal Chief was not present on SmackDown today, but that didn’t stop him from breaking another record in the WWE. And this time, the record was held by his cousin, ‘The Great One’, Dwayne Johnson. Although The Rock left the WWE for a time, some records that he set during his first stint still stand strong. Until today, that is.

Roman Reigns is definitely on his way to becoming one of the greatest superstars to ever walk the face of the WWE.

Roman Reigns is without any doubt the top dog in the WWE. But fans will agree that there is someone else from his own family who is at par or maybe even above Reigns when it comes to popularity. It’s none other than ‘The People’s Champ’ Dwayne Johnson.

And this was clearly evident when Johnson made a comeback to the WWE on SmackDown exactly a month ago. The roaring fans were a testament that The Rock is still a force to be reckoned with. Sadly, the same cannot be said about his wrestling records as he doesn’t battle in the ring anymore.

That has given his cousin Roman Reigns a chance to break one of his long-standing records. Currently, Reigns is the longest reigning world champion of the 21st century with his unbeaten title run of 1,147+ days. This number just eclipsed the combined number of days Dwayne Johnson has been the WWE Champion, which was 8 times in his total career.

Now the next target for The Tribal Chief is the legendary Bruno Sammartino, who is the 4th longest-reigning World Champion in the history of the WWE. His record stands at 1,237 days, so just another 90 days or 3 months to go.

But one star stands in his way of accomplishing this feat. And he might very well become the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at Crown Jewel.

The Tribal Chief fans know very well how much he hates the term “yeet”. He even angrily told Jimmy Uso to “stop doing that” when he said it the last time.

Well, someone paid close attention to that and used that very word to get on the nerves of his arch-nemesis. Post SmackDown coming to an end, Knight came out to the ring and made the whole Frost Bank Center shout “Yeet” clearly to irk The Tribal Chief.

Post that, Knight took on a serious tone and told Jey Uso that he would knock The Tribal Chief’s teeth down his throat. He even confidently said that at Crown Jewel, the fans will get to see LA Knight as the new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. But what are your opinions on Roman Reigns breaking The Rock’s record?
