Roman Reigns sends a message to McIntyre
Ahead of his mammoth Champion vs Champion clash at Survivor Series against WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns sent a loud and clear message to ‘The Scottish Warrior’ on Twitter.
Today there will be a lot of talk about “legacy” and “legend.” You don’t get the chance to look back if you don’t put in the work now. I am head of the table, Universal Champ, THE Champion of @WWE.@DMcIntyreWWE is a skilled, focused, and strong … #2. #SurvivorSeries #WitnessMe
— Roman Reigns (@WWERomanReigns) November 22, 2020
Roman’s character work has exceeded expectations, and such tweets only add to the cocky Tribal Chief that he is. On the final SmackDown before Survivor Series, Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre met in the ring for a contract signing. Reigns was absolute gold on the mic and owned McIntyre in that segment. He also added how McIntyre was his favorite #2.
The two behemoths going face-to-face tonight surely has a big fight feel around it and rightly so. It is the first time in a long time that the company’s top two champions are full-time Superstars. The contest will be a hard-hitting affair and picking a winner is no simple task.
Battle of the Top Guys
Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre previously faced each other at WrestleMania 35 when ‘The Big Dog’ got the better of McIntyre. Tables have turned now. Fast forward two years, Drew McIntyre has been laser focused and is going full-steam in 2020.

Drew McIntyre won the 2020 Royal Rumble Match, defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36, and fought tough battles with Randy Orton. The Roman Reigns challenge is pretty humongous for McIntyre, but it will not be a cakewalk for ‘The Tribal Chief’ either.
Roman Reigns or Drew McIntyre, no matter who wins, the match is going to be a banger. With both men too big to take a loss, it will be an interesting watch to see who walks out as THE Champion in WWE.
