Staying true to his words is one of the traits that make Roman Reigns a champion. If he claims it, he’ll do it.
At WrestleMania 37, Roman Reigns showed aggressive dominance in the ring when he stacked Daniel Bryan and Edge and retained the WWE Universal Championship with the pinfall victory.
After securing the victory, Paul Heyman and ‘The Tribal Chief’ gave a brief interview backstage. This is when Roman Reigns clarified that if he said he will do, he will.

“What you think was gonna happen? You all calling me a liar? I told you on Friday, I’m gonna smash him. I’m gonna stack him, I’m gonna pin him one, two, three.”
This is exactly what ‘The Tribal Chief’ did. In fact, it was probably one of the most dominant performances at WrestleMania 37, Night 1 and Night 2 combined.
Roman Reigns is a huge success in his new avatar
It’s not easy to break Reigns’ confidence. Therefore, when he entered the stadium and received boos from the audience, it only fueled his passion to brutally attack Edge and Daniel Bryan.
In fact, the audience booing him upon his entrance to the arena proves he has become massively successful as a heel.
Moreover, the match between Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, and Edge was the perfect way to end WrestleMania 37. Each of the Superstars came up with an arsenal of moves while attempting to secure the victory.
Amidst a barrage of chairs, steel stairs, and tables, the match witnessed several noteworthy moments.
First, both Roman Reigns and Edge used their finisher ‘spear’ at the same time. It was a spear vs. spear moment in a clash of titans battle.

Second, in a moment of brutality, both Edge and Daniel Bryan had the Yes Lock applied on Roman Reigns.

Third, Jey Uso played a crucial role in Reigns winning the match. Edge was about to take the win after attacking Bryan and Reigns with a steel chair. However, Uso intervened, which gave Reigns the opportunity to recover and take over Edge.
Currently, Roman is at the top of the ladder, but it’s unlikely that Edge will accept defeat promptly. The WWE Universe might witness a rematch between Edge and Reigns, and if that happens, it will heavily divide the audience.
