Can WWE survive without Roman Reigns if he retires soon due to his leukemia concerns?

We are all aware that the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future. The real question is when it will happen, considering the wrestler is already working part-time and is getting older. Many fans have expressed their worries over this, and it is believed that one of the WWE insiders addressed it on his podcast.

On the most recent edition of Insights with Chris Van Vliet, Reigns’ retirement came up as a topic of discussion. They expected that he would depart the squad circle sometime in the next decade. Not only that, but he can wrestle after being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, like the Ultimate Underdog Rey Mysterio is now doing.

The famous podcaster even stated that the Tribal Chief’s medical history has not been favorable due to leukemia and other issues. However, if he can keep his physique in shape as it is today, he could wrestle well into his late 40s. Furthermore, this could pave the way for some incredible feuds. WWE currently has a promising starlet of young talents. A feud with Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, Carmello Hayes, Trick Williams, etc could have the WWE Universe frothing in their mouths if it ever happened.

In the podcast, Van Vliet stated, “2030s? Yeah, I think definitely. And we were talking about the Hall of Fame earlier. Yeah, of course, Roman Reigns is a future Hall of Famer whenever he decides to hang him up. I do think that Roman Reigns, and we’re kind of already seeing it in the last year or two, I think he’s going to move to that Brock Lesnar type of schedule. And I think that benefits both him, obviously…. I also think it benefits the fans.”

However, is the notion a realistic one?

Will Roman Reigns emulate Brock Lesnar in the future?

As we all know, Roman Reigns surprised everyone in the business when he announced his decision to work part-time after 2022. This implies he will not have many matches every year and will make fewer television appearances. Although this is unfortunate for the fans, he can maintain his schedule in the same way that The Beast does.
