Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline is evolving at a greater pace than ever. With Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa’s exhilarating entry, the idea of Bloodline 2.0 has come to life. Amidst the absence of Roman Reigns, his former Right-Hand Man seems to set his armies right to strike back whenever the former reclaims his domain.

In the latest build-up to that, Jacob Fatu underwent a scintillating debut on SmackDown last week and tore down the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens. Now, from this point in time, with Fatu officially siding with Sikoa and The Bloodline, we can imagine Reigns opting for a reconciliation with the Usos to form a counter team upon returning. But who could be the fourth personality in the Reigns squad to equate the opponent numbers?

Jim Cornette has an interesting answer to this. Per him, Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn might come off as a foe turned ally to strengthen the OG Bloodline ahead of the much anticipated civil war. In the June 26 episode of the Jim Cornette Experience, the host noted, “If you needed a fourth person, if you’re just going based on that: Solo, Jacob Fatu, the Tongans, Roman Reigns, a reunited Usos. Remember, Sami Zayn was a big part of that story for a long time. He was an honorary Uce, for the record.”

Throughout 2022, Sami Zayn had a huge role in the Bloodline storyline. He was on Kevin Owens’ team at the Royal Rumble 2023 after being sidelined by Roman Reigns and the other Bloodline members for nearly a year. The heat between him and Reigns reached a boiling point at Elimination Chamber 2023, where Zayn picked up the loss due to Bloodline assistance.

“I’m feeling very strange, strangely detached, and I can’t quite put my finger on what it is. On a cognitive level, I know what we just did,” he said during the post-show press conference. That said, Zayn still got the upper hand over The Usos to win the WWE Undisputed tag team championship alongside Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 39. After a year’s halt, former WWE manager Jim Cornette believes it’s time for the 39-year-old to slide into the affairs of the Samoan faction but with a twist in his new role.

Instead of going against Roman Reigns, he could be on the Tribal Chief’s side this time. As soon as Reigns temporarily stepped away following his defeat against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa changed the face of The Bloodline, including kicking Jimmy Uso out. So when he comes back, everyone believes there will be a civil war: the OG Bloodline versus Bloodline 2.0. And there are already signs of Reigns not liking what’s happening.

The Tribal Chief unfollowed Solo Sikoa on Instagram, and he doesn’t follow the Tongans either. This could mean he isn’t on board with the Tongans’ initiation into the Bloodline, potentially setting the scene for that civil war. But with Jacob Fatu and the Tongans backing Solo Sikoa, Reigns would be outnumbered 4 to 1. But that’s where Sami Zayn would come in. When Reigns returns and if he’s forcefully kicked out of The Bloodline, he could reunite with the Usos and bring Zayn into the fold.

With all this anticipation around his return, let’s see the latest big update on Roman Reigns to better evaluate future prospects.

Even though the Tribal Chief is absent from the active WWE storyline, he’s still taking center stage as far as rumor mills are concerned. On last week’s blue brand show, Paul Heyman namedropped the Big Dog when he confronted Solo Sikoa about his verbal war with CM Punk. Sikoa dismissed Heyman’s concerns as he remarked that Reigns isn’t coming back at all. But as per a recent update from Xero News, Sikoa has to prepare in full for a singles match against The Tribal Chief around SummerSlam.

The report further noted that Roman Reigns could return in the next one to two weeks to build up the clash of August 3. Differing ideals could come to loggerheads soon enough as Reigns steps back into the spotlight. What’s your take on Sami Zayn potentially being the fourth person in Roman Reigns’ OG Bloodline squad?
