WWE has been entertaining the world with some of the best acts and shows across the world for a long time. While an entire team is involved in making everything a success, it is the wrestlers who primarily deliver. This time, the wrestlers that propelled the massive rise in ratings were Cody Rhodes, John Cena, and Roman Reigns.

Cody Rhodes has been doing a fabulous job of winning over the crowd just like John Cena. However, the name of Roman Reigns alongside the two babyfaces comes as a huge surprise. According to a recent social media update, the three wrestlers joined hands to propel WWE to new heights. In fact, they bagged a massive response from the audience, which was clear from a very significant metric.

The current orientation of WWE features multiple stars involved in several storylines who are actively winning the hearts of the audience. The credit for the utilization of this larger roster pool goes to WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H. While almost every wrestler is getting a fair share of the spotlight at the moment, Reigns, Cena, and Rhodes still top the list. A tweet on X recently broke the news of the latest ratings and the top stars who generated major numbers.

The tweet carried the caption, “WWE’s top ratings draws within the company (minute-for-minute viewership) are: 1. Roman Reigns, 2. Cody Rhodes, 3. John Cena.”  Viewership is one of the strongest indicators of a star’s popularity and their sway on the crowd. It helps WWE evaluate which stars need more screen time over others.

The tweet credited David Meltzer’s Wrestling News Observer as its source. While John Cena was a guaranteed fan magnet, and Rhodes has been killing it lately, Roman Reigns’ name in the list stands out. Setting John Cena aside, Cody Rhodes has been nailing one show after another for a long time now.

On the other hand, Roman Reigns hasn’t really devoted much time to WWE. This means that Reigns hasn’t let the quality of his performances drop despite his unavailability. In fact, almost an entire arena got sold out to see him in SmackDown’s latest episode before Crown Jewel 2023.

Roman Reigns was last seen in WWE at SummerSlam on 6 August 2023. His next match at Crown Jewel 2023 in November will effectively mark a three-month gap between both of his fights. Despite this, Reigns walked into an almost sold-out arena to sign the contract with LA Knight for his title defense in Saudi Arabia. In what can only be described as a miraculously pleasant surprise, almost 95 percent of the seats were sold out.

In fact, the attendance in the arena was well over 11,000 people. Although the credit for this large gathering also goes to LA Knight, he has been appearing on SmackDown every week for a long time.
