Roman Reigns' reaction to Solo Sikoa's betrayal—Is this the end of the Bloodline as we know it?

If Bloodline has transitioned, so has WWE. Every seasoned fan must have noticed the major changes in marketing and promotion methods and the basic ideology patterns. But the changes are not limited to that. If you have a keen eye, you can easily spot the differences in the creative flow and the overall disposition of the storylines. An old Bloodline clip featuring Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns carries one of the strongest testaments of this visible trend.

The new era of Bloodline is all about a long-time storyline and the precision of the details. If you are a fan of Solo Sikoa insisting Paul Heyman put the iconic Ula Fala necklace on his neck, you better know where it has its roots.

Sikoa used to be the most loyal hand of his Tribal Chief back in the OG Bloodline era. But was he really that innocent? The clip in question showed the self-acclaimed Tribal Chief sneakily staring at Roman Reigns’ red Ula Fala necklace during a backstage segment. If you could read the eyes, you would know something creepy was brewing.

In modern-day wrestling, the minute details are always under the fan’s scrutiny, giving them the power to foresee anything and everything. Thanks to the social media takeover, it has its pros and cons. The negative effect the practice bears is it kind of evaporates the essence of suspension and tension. Hyperactive fans almost have figured out everything before the materialization.

For the good part, it creates an ample space for more intelligent, careful storytelling, counter challenging fans’ inflated access to the technology. Sometimes the second motive succeeds in creating an impact, just as it did with Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa’s recent viral clip.

So, the betrayal was long-tipped? Well, while the answer seems clear from the clip above, Bloodline recently unfolded another massive betrayal in the book.

Paul Heyman got abandoned from the Bloodline

Paul Heyman is no longer a Bloodline member, at least for the time being. The veteran has been one of the polarising pillars in the family since July 2021, standing firm with his client through thick and thin. The Wiseman’s contribution to Reigns’ top-notch journey has been an open secret. So, it was quite clear that the Hall Of Famer wouldn’t fit in Sikoa’s leadership, as it would be a breach of his loyalty.

The first instance of the family turning on Heyman mentally was visible when Sikoa sidelined him to welcome Tama Tonga into the family. Heyman stood flabbergasted in the corner, watching out the unbelievable. The seating dissatisfaction finally culminated in him rejecting to accept Sikoa as the Tribal Chief and receiving a brutal beat down as the result. It, however, has set the stage of Roman Reigns’ accelerated return for the sake of sheltering Heyman.
