Roman Reigns could be getting closer to adopting an alternate version of his last gimmick. Big victories or losses in a pro wrestler’s career run often allow them to bring a drastic change and in this case, The Tribal Chief has already lost his precious Universal Championship. There is speculation that after the title, Reigns will also lose The Bloodline because of how vicious it has become.

The new faction may not bow down to The Tribal Chief’s authority and instead kick him out of the faction. Mark Henry recently talked about how this dramatic turn of events could go down when the superstar returns to the promotion.

During a recent Busted Open podcast episode, Mark Henry talked about the potential direction Roman Reigns’ return storyline could take. According to the WWE legend, The Tribal Chief may return to praise Solo Sikoa for taking good care of the faction. Although Reigns wouldn’t have gone down the road of anarchy, he could still be appreciative of Sikoa’s work. This is where things will get interesting. Mark Henry said, “Then Solo gives them [The New Bloodline] a look and they jump Roman when that day comes that’s when they’ll be made, man. Because they have to beat somebody of substance and that’s Roman and that’s going to make Roman a real babyface.

Once Reigns traverses the path to becoming a babyface, WWE may reveal in the meantime that The Bloodline may have done their bidding for a stronger ally who is controlling the promotion from outside. The tension between Dwayne Johnson and Roman Reigns pre-WrestleMania could pay off via these concepts. These ideas sound even more exciting combined with the newly speculated return date for the Head of the Table.

When should we expect Reigns to come back?

WWE hasn’t given us a fixed date of return for The Tribal Chief. So we can expect it to be a surprise return, or news about the return could surface just days before the event. During the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer claimed that Roman Reigns may be back in the promotion in July. Since he is currently busy with some Hollywood projects, it is difficult to spot him back in the Stamford-based company this month.

Fans could either witness his return on July 6th at the ‘Money In The Bank’ PLE or he may also appear in one of the weekly shows. These speculations and predictions suggest that we may not be that far away from watching Roman Reigns turn babyface once again.
