Roman Reigns Drops Massive Update on WWE Dream Match With Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson

When it comes to dream matches, the WWE Universe has a list. WWE can make some come true, some not. But, when it’s a dream match involving Roman Reigns and The Rock, this is one that MUST happen.

Now, fans believe 2021 is the best year to have the Clash of Cousins. Why? Well, Survivor Series 2021 clashes with The Rock’s 25th Anniversary.

Moreover, Roman Reigns has been undefeated since he became The Universal Champion at Payback 2020. Therefore, the question isn’t why should the match be in 2021. The question is – Why not?

So, when The Tribal Chief arrived as a guest on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon asked him this question.

Reigns addressed the rumours and said he hasn’t heard of any such rumours about Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock coming to town at Survivor Series 2021. However, if the chance came, he would definitely fight The Rock.

“I would, yes. I don’t know if he wants it. But, that’s kinda something we do in our family as far as sports entertainment and professional wrestling, WWE, this is our platform. This is our family business. Where better to kinda solve problems than in the squared circle?”

Well, if Roman Reigns and Dwayne Johnson want to solve problems, of course Survivor Series 2021 should BE IT. If not, the next best event for the same is WrestleMania 38.

Why Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson may not return against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38?

Imagining the two alpha cousins in the ring is spectacular, it may not work because of a third alpha male who is roaming in the shadows.

Even though WWE suspended Brock Lesnar, he’s supposedly taking on Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38. This is a huge match, and putting Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock in the mix may not be the best decision.

A triple threat match or Rock appearing to help Reigns will become a repetition of what has already been done before.

When The Rock returns, against whoever, it needs to be big, and it needs to be meaningful and possibly something new.

So far, it doesn’t look like WWE has anything planned for The Most Electrifying Man in All of WWE!
