The main event of WWE Crown Jewel 2021 of as the most anticipated match of the event. Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar going head-to-head for the Universal Champion was nothing less than a clash of the titans.

The entire WWE Universe is divided between the two alphas, and no one knew who would finally come out victorious. However, if there is one person whose actions have been completely shady, it’s Paul Heyman.

Prior to the event, he gave a brief interview backstage. He said he would walk down the ramp with The Universal Champion Roman Reigns, and he would walk back with The Universal Champion, but did not take Reigns’ name. This begs the question – did Heyman give a hint about Lesnar leaving the ring as champion? Let’s find out!

The match started with the alphas staring at each other, and finally, Lesnar went for Roman Reigns. But, the initial duel did not last for long and they separated.

The Beast seized the opportunity of a distracted Reigns and took a shot at The Tribal Chief, but soon found himself at the end of Reigns’ brutal punches and smacks. Unfortunately, The Beast isn’t one to back down, and introduced Suplex City.

Brock Lesnar almost destroyed Reigns with a series of kicks but The Tribal Chief regained his composure after banging Lesnar’s face to the ring corners. Next, there was a moment when Lesnar tried to enter the ring, but Reigns put him ringside with a punch and then followed it with a leap through the ropes to take down The Beast.

Not long after, Roman Reigns speared Brock Lesnar and tried the first pin, unfortunately, failed.

The brutality continued, and The Tribal Chief delivered a couple of superman punches to The Beast. However, he tried a second spear but Lesnar avoided it and Reigns went face first into the center turnbuckle. The Beast continued his domination with multiple suplexes, and an F5, but his pin attempt failed.

Next, The Tribal Chief showed his domination by attempting to choke The Beast, but it did not work out. The Beast executed another F5 on Reigns, but ended up injuring the referee.

Brock Lesnar attempted to pin Reigns, but the injured referee couldn’t do the count, which angered Lesnar, and The Beast took it out on the official himself.

Roman Reigns seized this opportunity to attack The Beast, but after a while, both men were on the ring floor.

At this point, Paul Heyman threw the WWE Universal Championship between them. A tug of war started between the men, and Lesnar actually took it from Reigns. However, The Usos came to Reigns’ aid, and kicked Lesnar in the face.

Roman Reigns took the belt and hit Lesnar on the face, and then pinned him. Another official entered the ring and counted to three.

The Tribal Chief retained the Universal Championship!
