Goldberg is set to make a return to the apex of the WWE roster. “The Iconic” was spotted eagerly watching Roman Reigns take on Braun Strowman on Friday night. It seems that Vince McMahon does in fact have plans for him over the next few months.
Goldberg has been around for the past few years, competing at the highest level even after entering his 50s. Still absolutely fit and muscular, he is capable of delivering a few more top-quality matches.

Vince McMahon intends to ride the Goldberg card up to its exhaustion. The WCW legend’s return to WWE on SmackDown proved that the Chairman wants him once more. Perhaps he can still hear those loud ‘Goldberg’ bellows coming from the crowd every time the Superstar is seen. According to a report from Inside The Ropes, Vince McMahon “couldn’t care less what anyone thinks about him using Goldberg.”
Goldberg has revealed that his contract allows him to compete twice a year in WWE. He already wiped that clause by competing at Super ShowDown by beating “The Fiend” for the Universal Championship and then later at WrestleMania where he lost the same to Braun Strowman.
Vince McMahon intends on placing Goldberg in a feud against either Roman Reigns or Braun Strowman. Since Reigns is already in a personal blood feud, Braun Strowman will most likely face the wrath of the foe he once defeated.

Roman Reigns opted to stay out of the picture for the initial months of the lockdown, which is why Goldberg faced Strowman instead.
