Big E became the talk of town when he successfully cashed in the Money in the Bank contract and defeated Bobby Lashley. Of course, everyone congratulated him. Now, there’s another champion who acknowledged his victory in a twisted manner, the Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns reacted to his victory and revealed Big E cashing in his Money in the Bank contract for the WWE Championship and not the Universal Championship was a smart move. While a simple congratulation would have sufficed, The Tribal Chief is all about saying exactly what’s on his mind.

Now, Roman Reigns could still face Big E at Survivor Series if both superstars remain champions by the time the PPV comes around. Of course, it has to be a Champion vs Champion duel like Survivor Series 2020.

Big E cashing in on WWE Raw could be related to ratings

Usually, Money in the Bank winners do not announce when they will cash in. This time, Big E announced it beforehand. Obviously, this was done to ensure the fans tune in for the show and witness if E is successful or not.

Additionally, prior to Big E cashing in, Bobby Lashley defended the title against Randy Orton in a physically dominating match. This singles match was originally supposed to be at Extreme Rules 2021.

However, AEW Dynamite beat WWE Raw in terms of ratings in the 18-49 demo. Therefore, WWE pulled up the singles match between The Viper and The Almighty from Extreme Rules to WWE Raw.

Even though WWE denied any external situation encouraging them to make this move, it seems like this is the reason WWE pulled the match forward.
