“Roman Cody Rematch Is Coming”: Fans Unimpressed as Big Names Go Missing From WrestleMania 40’s First Poster

WWE has one event that’s the biggest weekend in the wrestling industry. WrestleMania is an event that puts a lot of sporting events to shame. The massive scale of the event attracts many fans from all over the world. So, this makes WrestleMania a dream of many wrestlers to finally show their skills on the biggest stage in WWE.

Inversely, this is also the place where many fans want to see their biggest wrestlers perform. So, when a promotional poster for WrestleMania 40 was released, many fans were worried as it didn’t include many top stars.

Who’s on the WrestleMania 40 promotional poster and what does it mean?

WWE released the 8 months-away WrestleMania 40’s first promotional poster. The poster features only eight wrestlers among the entire WWE roster. This includes the champions, Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and Seth Rollins. Also, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, and Asuka feature on the poster.

With this poster, many fans in the comments were convinced that we are getting a repeat of last year’s main event, Reigns vs Rhodes. Despite gaining back the confidence of the audience with his victory over Lesnar at SummerSlam, many are still on the edge for that match. Apart from that, people are also thinking that Ripley vs Lynch or Ripley vs Belair could be a potential match-up for ‘Mania 40.

But many fans weren’t even addressing the poster in front of them. Instead, they pointed out the excess of top stars who are not a part of this poster and the indication that presents.

From former world champions like Charlotte Flair to Bobby Lashley, big money-makers are not on the poster. Also, current fan-favorite champions like Iyo Sky and Gunther are also absent from the poster. Does WWE intend to say something about the show through this poster?

The biggest name to be left out from this poster is clearly Gunther.

Also, the biggest underdog in WWE, LA Knight, is not on the poster.

WWE has got fans wondering about who will be in the empty space.

This fan needs to see Zoey Stark, Nathan Frazer, or at least Gunther at ‘Mania 40.

This fan needs to see Trish Stratus on the big show as well.

The woman that has always been WWE’s safe bet at delivering pristine performances, Charlotte Flair, is also missing.

With his new faction building, Bobby Lashley should also be on this poster.

This fan thinks the empty spot is for Liv Morgan or Raquel Rodriguez.

These fan reactions point out different stars but all agree that there are stars missing from this poster. Will this poster be a hint about the upcoming matches in April? We’ll just have to hold on and see.
