Ray said, “The last thing Cody should do is try to match The Rock on the mic. It’s not happening. Rocky will absolutely destroy Cody on the mic.”

Ray continued, “It’s not that Cody is not good on the mic; it’s just that it is The Rock, and he’s superior.” This just goes to show how much respect Ray has for Johnson and his craft. Many WWE stars have cited Johnson as one of the best mic workers in the WWE. Rey mentioned that only John Cena and CM Punk could reach The Rock’s standards, but Rhodes cannot match his peers.

The angle that the pro wrestling legend has outlined means that Cody Rhodes need not try one up The Rock with witty comebacks and retorts, Instead, Rhodes needs to be humble and honest, and fans will love it as it comes straight from the heart.
