Will Thamiko and Zilla Fatu live up to the legendary Bloodline legacy in WWE?

A few days ago, Cody Rhodes emerged scalded from a pitched battle that took place in the final moments of the Blue Brand. The members of The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, took advantage of their numerical superiority to crush their rival. Sikoa and the American Nightmare will meet at SummerSlam for the WWE Undisputed Title, and the champion will be planning to change the strategy of his defense. The Bloodline has truly become a thorn in his side and he will need to prepare optimally to weed it out with caution.

The Bloodline established itself as one of the most imposing factions that WWE and wrestling have. This is largely because of the large number of members who are related to Samoan ancestry, and the fact that makes the group even scarier is the fact that more members in their Bloodline can be a part of the stable. In fact, many, such as Lance Anao’i and Zilla Fatu, are already being named as prospective candidates who can be a part of the WWE.

In fact, Rikishi, one of the most prominent members of the Samoan dynasty, has named some prospects who could join the WWE and when they can be expected to make their debut. Known as one of the biggest insiders because of his ability to hype up his own family members, in his latest podcast episode, he revealed that he believes Thamiko Fatu and Zilla Fatu might take about two years to be WWE-ready. While Journey, the younger brother of Jacob Fatu and the son of Sam Fatu, is already WWE-ready.

On the ‘Rikishi Off the Top podcast‘, the co-host reiterated a previous statement by Rikishi that reveals Zilla and Thamiko’s debut timeline before asking a rather interesting question. “You said he (Zilla) needs about another two years to get there and get ready. What about Lance, Journey, and Thamiko out of those three?”

Rikishi replied, “Thamiko can kind of be in that same category with Zilla. Lance is primed. Journey can get away with, Journey can adapt. He’s a WWE material right now. But Journey doesn’t look like the rest of us. Journey has his own look. Right? So I would think if they do decide to pick up Journey Fatu, which is Jacob’s brother… his younger brother, you know, Journey’s psychology is through the roof.” Well, it surely looks like the WWE is going to get another major bloodline member. But before Journey could sign with the promotion and debut, he would have to wait for the debut of Hikuleo, the brother of Tama Tonga.

At the beginning of June, Hikuleo left NJPW, and it was immediately reported that what was expected was that he would sign with WWE. Several weeks passed and there was no more news about it. But finally, a definitive update has been given about his future. As reported by Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, Hikuleo has officially signed with WWE. Although, so far, it is unknown if there is already a set debut date.

Have an interesting take?

The only certain thing is that he is already part of the WWE roster. PWN confirmed this news minutes later on their social networks. They added that he would join his brothers, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, in The Bloodline as part of SmackDown. WWE already had an interest in him at the beginning of 2023. But Vince McMahon’s return to the company to initiate a sale caused all signings for the main roster to be halted for several months. But now, he is finally here and ready to join his brothers in the Bloodline. Maybe he will play a major part at SummerSlam! What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
