Are Jimmy and Jey Uso the real backbone of Roman Reigns' Bloodline storyline?

Roman Reigns could make his way back to WWE and fight for his rightful spot at the Head of the Table. Seeing how ruthless The Bloodline has become, he may need some support from the rest of his family. Unfortunately, the two people that he could count on are nowhere close to him now.

While one of The Usos is on a hiatus, with no revelation of when he will come back to the promotion, the other one wrestles on Monday Night Raw, making it difficult for him to reunite with his cousin. But Rikishi thinks WWE will figure something out.

Rikishi sat to discuss the same topic on his podcast ‘Off The Top’ and opined about what could be the future of The Bloodline when The Tribal Chief returns. According to him, both Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso could eventually team up to help their former team leader and take down their younger brother who has gone rogue. The WWE legend said, “The original Bloodline [will] come through, which will be Roman, I would think the twins will probably get back because they’re not doing a damn thing with Yeet.” He thinks that since Jey Uso is not part of a personal rivalry at the moment, WWE may not hesitate in making him a part of the new Bloodline saga.

Jey Uso hasn’t shown up on the blue brand for a long time now and only faced his former teammates once backstage when they walked past him. So, it seems unlikely at the moment that he will reunite with them right away. Till then, WWE would also need to pave the way for the return of Jimmy Uso.

Jimmy Uso may not return alongside Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns’ return to WWE has now become a worldwide topic among wrestling fans. So, it will definitely be a massive deal once Reigns steps into the squared circle and receives a hero’s ovation. Jimmy Uso’s absence has also made fans want to see his return. So, in order to utilize both of their fanbase equally well, WWE may hold off one of them for SummerSlam. Considering that SummerSlam is a big PLE and fans are already expecting the ex-Tribal Chief to be there, it would make sense if he is booked to appear in Cleveland during the first weekend in August. As for Jimmy Uso, he could return a few weeks before the event.

What’s your perspective on:

Are Jimmy and Jey Uso the real backbone of Roman Reigns' Bloodline storyline?

Have an interesting take?

Since he was out of the promotion even before the draft, the fans did not get to see him sign with either of the brands. This means that we can see Jimmy Uso show up in either Raw or SmackDown before SummerSlam. Him getting booked to appear at a weekly show before SummerSlam would help build up the momentum for the storyline and also allow fans to soak in the return before Roman Reigns if his appearance on the 3rd of August is confirmed at all.
