The WWE Universe was shocked following the events of Legends Night on Raw. The main event featured Drew McIntyre successfully defending his title against Keith Lee, but this was hardly the spectacle compared to what came next.

Former Universal Champion Goldberg emerged from the blinds to his theme song and walked up to the ring. Drew McIntyre knew what was coming and held his WWE Championship a little closer as the WCW legend stepped into the ring.

His worst fear was realized when ‘The Iconic’ challenged him for his title. While Drew is yet to reply, fans were absolutely put off by the sudden storyline, introduced out of nowhere.

Follow the show, Retribution member T-Bar openly asked WWE fans if they would like Retribution to take out Goldberg through his Twitter account.

The post got a lot of retweets, which probably proves how unpopular this feud already is. To make things even better, WWE Superstar Riddle also mentioned that he strongly supported T-Bar’s tweet.

The major talking point here is that T-Bar’s tweet was in kayfabe, but was the words of Riddle as well? The ‘Bro’ seemed pretty strong in his statement, and it was probably directed at a past tussle with Goldberg. Riddle had expressed his desire to ‘end Goldberg’s career’, but was met with talking down by Goldberg, who asked him to show a little respect.

Goldberg does not have the same fan support as he did

Goldberg has a 2 match per year contract with WWE and has come back to win the title in almost all of them. He was responsible for ‘burying’ “The Fiend” at Super Showdown 2020 and does not retain the same fan following as he once did.
