The Internet Wrestling Community can be a funny place at times. While it does have the power to shake up the world as seen in the case of Cody Rhodes, sometimes it can be a bit overdramatic. Something similar happened recently when a troll online tried to share an opinion that was in poor taste. What followed next was that Ricochet tried to teach the said fan a lesson but in the subtlest way possible. Now that fan might think a couple of times before commenting about Samantha Irvin.
Ricochet claps back at a troll
WWE recently posted a clip from the 03/11 episode of Raw. The clip is from the iron gauntlet match from that episode where the next opponent of Gunther was to be finalized. In the clip, Ricochet and JD McDonagh could be seen flying around in the ring and Ricochet’s fiance, Samantha Irvin was sitting on the edge of her seat during the match. Fans could see how visibly nervous she was as her fiance was about to be pinned by McDonagh.

While the purpose of WWE posting the clip might be to remind fans that they are a couple and Irvin gets worried for him, fans took it in another way. A fan commented on the post, “I have never once watched a wrestling match and thought ‘I wonder who the announcer is and how they are reacting to the match”.
Upon reading this comment Ricochet thought that it was time to teach this troll a lesson. He replied to the comment by writing, “You probably haven’t had many good thoughts in your life.” This resulted in other fans joining Ricochet in trolling the troll.
However, this is not the first time Ricochet has confronted the Internet Wrestling Community head-on. When almost everyone was against WWE, the former Intercontinental Champion decided to call out fans for their behavior.
Ricochet thinks the IWC is toxic
During the peak of WrestleMania XL drama, pro wrestling, and WWE fans took over social media by storm after Dwayne Johnson was accused of taking Cody Rhodes’ spot for WrestleMania 40. During this time, many fans faced the backlash including Simone Johnson and Sami Zayn. However, Ricochet noticed all of this and decided to call out fans for their toxicity.

He tweeted that it is fine to voice opinion but to say hurtful things without any purpose is not the right course of action. When he came across the news of Simone Johnson receiving death threats from fans, he commented, “Told you they are toxic!” What do you have to say about Ricochet being vocal always?
