After retirement, one thing that Flair enjoys doing is the podcast, where he expresses his thoughts on various topics and shares many stories. Similarly, on his most recent episode of the podcast To be the Man, Naitch was asked what he thought of The Rock vs. The Tribal Chief, the WWE Universe’s dream match. Replying to that, Flair strongly opposed the notion and offered reasons for his argument.
He stated, “I don’t think personally that The Rock is gonna do it. I think that’s it is much as he might respect Roman, which I’m sure they do all those guys it’s a brotherhood like, that no other. I don’t think Rock will come back and do a favor why would he?”
Moreover, he gave a reason for it, “Tomorrow morning when you go back to his acting career with a loss, I don’t think so. I don’t see that happen and I would do the company not going to put the belt on a Rock because he is not gonna be a full-time wrestler ever again.”

Ric Flair believes it’s unlikely that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would take part in the fight
The Nature Boy made it abundantly clear that he doesn’t believe The Rock will join the showdown considering his busy Hollywood schedule. However, he believes that he would come for the show considering he resides in Los Angeles. In his words, “I don’t think it’s a given that The Rock is even going to be there. But I see him attending the show because he lives in LA now. I think that they’re hanging that out there. But s*** is sold out without beating The Rock.”
The Rock does definitely have a hectic schedule, but it is said that his calendar will be clear for the first quarter of 2023. Therefore, it is far more likely that he will join the battle. Meanwhile, it would be a major event for the WWE universe if The Rock joined once again the company, which elevated him into a superstar.
